Ben grew up the youngest of eight in a large music loving family outside of San Francisco. Growing to the soundtrack of the 90s-early 2000s, Ben spent his summers on the rivers and mountains of Yosemite, and his winter on the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe. From a young age, Ben idolized MJ for his dance moves, and David Blane for his finesse. Whether he was performing magic shows for his family as a 7 year old, or dancing in talent shows to NSYNC - I Want You Back at Club Med, Ben was always getting the party started and was willing to get on stage to make it  happen.

Ben got his start in the industry as a hip hop choreographer in the Bay Area. Around that time, Ben also began working for the well regarded Northern California Entertainment firm,  Denon & Doyle. Quickly Ben become one of D&D's top DJs while leading teams on high profile Private & Corporate Events throughout Northern California. Over the next eight years, Ben would slowly clock his 10,000 hours and hone his craft.

Before leaving the Bay Area, Ben served as the Program Director for the largest residential summer camp on the west coast. Blending education, music, dance, and entertainment, Ben continued to perfect his craft while earning his degree from San Francisco State and attending Pyramind Music Production Institute. 

In 2017 Ben embarked on new adventures and set off for the Pacific Northwest. Co-founding Higher Ground Entertainment, Ben is pairing his seasoned skills with a fresh, boutique style approach for Private Events, Corporate Events, VIP Events and other entertainment experiences. Based in Portland but available for events worldwide, Higher Ground Entertainment’s team of DJs are excited to call the Pacific Northwest their new home.
